Sabana Falls Development will be projected as a Residential Private Community as a complement to the “Rancho La Ponderosa” project, with a state of the art semi-private Golf Course designed by Nicklaus Design”, the design firm founded by Jack Nicklaus and owned by the Nicklaus family. Sabana Falls Development is planned for Home Sites, Condominiums and Villas, as well as luxury recreational amenities that include a Lodge & Wellness Center as part of the recreational activities. Owners will enjoy a unique life style in an environment surrounded by mountains, plains and rivers. The project will offer a variety of recreational amenities, and proximity to the infrastructure located in the city of Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The developer anticipates the commencement of the development in (July) 2008, with the beginning of Phase I (Golf Course and infrastructure of the Valle San Diego Residential Cluster), coming to the end of Phase I in (July) 2010. The developer considers within the project the improvement of the quality of life within the surrounding communities, with programs such as: educational, health, employment and sustainable maintenance projects for the community, which could be coordinated with the local municipal authorities. The Residential Community will be located in the municipality of Liberia-Costa Rica, and includes a championship golf course designed by "Nicklaus Design", 18 holes, par 72, 7176 yards, golf academy and a 23,000 square foot Club House, with a bar-restaurant, proshop, women's and men's locker rooms, and terraces overlooking holes 9 and 18. The designated area for the golf course and its components will be 84 hectares (213 acres). Phase I of the project will have the construction of the 18 holes, driving range, short-game area, cart path, water reservoirs, maintenance facility and club house, breaking ground July 2008, with a timeline of two years to complete Phase I. The Club will be structured as a Non Equity Club, offering Non Equity memberships in two categories, Internal and External Memberships. |
